The investment will support CreditVidya’s plans to continuously advance their technology platform and launch additional products that help lenders approve more customers, minimize fraud rates and accelerate verification processes of potential customers.

Speaking about the investment, Abhishek Agarwal, Co-founder and CEO of CreditVidya said, “Non-traditional internet and mobile data sources provide a rich source of social, behavioural and transactional data which when combined with advanced analytics is fuelling a new wave of credit risk assessment. Our big data platform leverages over 10,000+ such unique digital data points to assess the creditworthiness of a potential borrower. We work very closely with our lending partners to develop customized scorecards for their product offering so that they can approve more creditworthy customers. The goal to drive financial inclusion by enabling access to credit through our technology platform is what motivates us!”

Fashionable Shoes and Sandals

Shoe Making- How Shoes are Made
Shoes Footwear can be defined as garments that are worn on the feet. There main purpose is protecting one's feet. Of late, footwear has become an important component of fashion accessories. Although, their basic purpose remains that of protection, adornment or defining style statement has become their additional and a significant function. There are many types of footwear- shoes, boots, sandals, slippers etc. They are further categorized into many more types.

Parts of a Shoe
A shoe consists of sole, insole, outsole, midsole, heel, and vamp (upper). They are the basic parts of a shoe that are mostly included in all types off shoes. Other parts of a shoe are lining, tongue, quarter, welt and backstay. These parts are included as per the design of the shoes.

Sole: The exterior bottom part of a shoe is the sole.

Insole: The interior bottom of a shoe, which sits directly beneath the foot, is its insole. They can be removable and replaceable too. In some of the shoes, extra insoles are often added for comfort, health or other reasons, such as to control the shape, moisture, or smell of the shoe.

Outsole: It is that layer of the shoe that is in direct contact with the ground. These can be made of various materials like leather, natural or synthetic rubber etc. Often the heel of the sole is made from rubber for durability and traction and the front is made of leather for style. Special purpose shoes often have refined modifications, for example, athletic cleats have spikes embedded in the outsole to grip the ground, dance shoes have much softer or harder soles.

Midsole: The layer that lies between the outsole and the insole for shock absorption, is the midsole. Some special shoes, like running shoes have other materials for shock absorption, that usually lie beneath the heel where one puts the most pressure down. Materials used for midsoles depend on the shoe manufacturers. Some shoes can be made even without a midsole.

Heel: The rear part at the bottom of a shoe is the heel. It supports the heels of the feet. Heels of a shoe are often made from the same material as the sole of the shoe. It can be high for fashion purpose or for making a person look taller. They are also flat for comfort and practical use.

Vamp, or upper: The upper part of a shoe that helps in holding the shoe onto the foot is the vamp or simply called the upper. This part is often embellished or given different styles to make shoes attractive.

Shoe Making Process

A footwear company has mainly four departments in which a progressive route is followed for producing finished shoes. These are- Clicking or Cutting Department, Closing or Machining Department, Lasting & Making Department, Finishing Department and the Shoe Room.

All Latest Jewellery In India

Costume jewelry and fashion jewelry are essentially the same but from different time periods. The two types share similarities in construction and purpose, but there are some subtle differences between costume and fashion jewelry. Many consumers use these terms interchangeably while some jewelers and fashion designers distinguish between the two categories.

Similarities of Costume and Fashion Jewelry

Both costume and fashion jewelry offer consumers the same benefit of affordable accessories. These jewelry types mimic the appearance of finer pieces by using less expensive materials. Fine jewelry can be expensive because it uses precious metals and gemstones that are quite valuable. Costume and fashion jewelry substitute these materials with plated metals and fake gems.

Function of Costume and Fashion Jewelry

Consumers purchase costume and fashion jewelry in order to look fashionable while maintaining a budget. The price of diamonds, solid gold, and precious gemstones can be expensive when trying to coordinate jewelry pieces with different outfits. Costume and fashion jewelry imitate the look of fine jewelry but can cost significantly less. With imitation pieces, consumers can wear a different set of jewelry everyday for relatively low prices.

How Costume and Fashion Jewelry Mimic Higher End Pieces

While expert jewelers can tell the difference between fine jewelry and imitations, the average consumer may be fooled by the realistic effects. Solid gold, silver, and platinum emit a luminescent shine that attracts the eye. Cheaper metals like nickel and pewter are duller in appearance, so to mimic that shine, designers plate the material with small amounts of gold or silver. This plating keeps the piece inexpensive while creating the look of precious metals. Diamonds and gemstones are also expensive depending on the quality. The brilliance and facets are slightly more difficult to imitate, but glass blowers try to replicate the shape and color of precious stones. Mid-grade jewelry sometimes uses semi-precious gems to keep prices lower while maintaining the beauty of fine jewelry. Plastic and acrylic beads with shiny coatings imitate the appearance of pearls at a cheap cost.

Rhinestones in Costume and Fashion Jewelry

One of the first methods used to simulate the look of diamonds was to coat the back of rock crystals with metal flakes. These crystals became known as rhinestones because they were collected from the river Rhine in Europe. With the proper construction, some rhinestones even sparkle like real diamonds under certain lighting conditions. Imitation jewelry featuring rhinestones became so popular that manufacturers coined the term diamante to categorize such pieces. Designers incorporate different colored crystals to mimic the effects of various precious gemstones.

Swarovski Rhinestones

The brand Swarovski introduced an iridescent crystal rhinestone in the mid 1950s using scientific treatments to produce the elegant effect. Many consumers ask for Swarovski jewelry by name because of the highly realistic looks and mid-ranged price level.
